In this lesson, students will explore the interdependence of living organisms and their environment by investigating how different soil types affect oil containment and remediation. Through hands-on experimentation, students will gain insights into the properties of soil, the impact of oil spills, and the environmental strategies used for remediation.

Approximate time needed:  2 Class Periods (50 minutes each)
